Official Rulebook
With an association comes rules. Alas, they're no fun, but I've tried to keep them few and manageable!
General Rules
- This association is restricted to stallions only. This means that you may not register mares or geldings within the association.
- If you geld a registered stallion, he is no longer eligible to partipate in the association.
- Colts and stallions of any age are eligible for registration in the association.
Showing Rules
- Stallions may enter a maximum of:
- THREE classes in the Breed & Open Halter Section.
- THREE classes in the Type & In Hand Halter Section.
- FOUR classes in the Young Stallion Section.
- A stallion may enter as many classes as he is eligible in the Restricted Halter Section.
- Stallions between the ages of zero and three years old may ONLY enter in Young Stallion classes and no other section.
- Stallions over the age of three years old may not enter Young Stallion classes.
- Failure to include breed and age division in the correct format will result in disqualification from the show.
- Stallions who are not purebred may not show in any breed halter class other than the crossbred halter class. If a crossbred breed is consistently popular, it will be added to the classlist on a regular basis.
- OWNERS may enter no more than SIX stallions per class.
Grading & Inspection Rules
- Owners may submit no more than five stallions per grading day.
- Stallions that are not graded into any of the four grading inspection results may try again the following grading day.
- Owners who would like to appeal their grading or try to improve their stallion's result must wait three months when they will apply for re-grading. They run the risk of having their stallion graded down a level as well, depending on how the stallion behaves at the time.
